An activation that fits the store

An in-store promotion needs a clear reason for customers to participate: discovering a launch, testing a product, personalising a purchase or joining a brand activity. We define the objective first. A demonstration for first-time visitors differs from a promotion aimed at customers who have already made a purchase.

The plan accounts for store space, footfall and everyday retail operations. We agree where conversations happen, how long participation takes and how customers find the featured product. Campaign rules and responsibility for customer-facing information form part of the brief.

One store or a multi-location rollout

A single event can be tailored closely to its venue. A retail rollout also requires consistency: shared staff instructions, correctly allocated materials and comparable reporting. Differences in store hours and layouts need to be reflected in the delivery schedule.

We agree store contacts, staff access, deliveries, setup and equipment collection. If your lead agency has already developed the concept, IQ Promotions can support a defined part of the Polish execution. Team and supplier availability are confirmed against the proposed locations and dates.

How we scope the budget

Key factors include the number of stores, operating hours, team size and activity requirements. A demonstration using supplied materials has a different scope from a customisation station requiring equipment and specialist support. Transport, coordination and reporting also need to be included.

Tell us which elements are ready: concept, artwork, promotional rules, equipment or venue arrangements. We can then price the remaining work and agree responsibilities. For larger rollouts, it helps to define how materials and scenario changes will be approved.

Connecting participation with the campaign objective

We define what counts as participation before the team arrives: a product conversation, a sample, a customised purchase or a redeemed code. Staff need clear instructions for recording activities and observations. Linking the event to store sales requires additional retailer data and an agreed measurement approach.

Our archive includes Van Graaf clothing customisation support and Adidas consumer activations. These are examples of possible experiences. The next campaign is designed around your own product, audience and retail environment.
