Merchandising on the shop floor

Merchandising concerns how products are presented where customers make buying decisions. A project may involve implementing a display, placing promotional materials or checking store readiness for a campaign. We first agree the intended standard and what can be carried out at each location.

Planogram-based work needs a clear layout guide. Point-of-sale materials require approved components, installation instructions and venue agreement. The scope can cover selected shops or the store list for a specific promotion.

Visual merchandising and POS materials

Visual merchandising focuses on composition, message clarity and consistency with the brand. Implementing an existing concept requires attention to the actual shop layout. Space and fixture differences should be understood before materials are ordered.

We define responsibility for design, production, delivery and placement of displays or shelf communication. Window design and specialist installation need a detailed brief before availability and costs can be confirmed.

One-off setup or repeat visits

A one-off project can support a launch, seasonal material replacement or a new product display. Repeat visits can check an agreed presentation standard. Both require a location list, task specification and store contacts.

Ongoing support also needs visit frequency, expected time per store and a process for reporting issues. Missing stock, materials or venue approval may prevent immediate completion. We agree how exceptions should be recorded and escalated.

Budgeting and reporting

Store numbers, geography, task complexity and working time shape the quote. Installation, checks and material production are different scopes. Transport, visit frequency and reporting detail also matter. A planogram, venue photographs and material specifications help define the work.

Reports can include before-and-after images, completed tasks and deviations from the agreed standard. This documents delivery; measuring the effect on sales requires a separate analysis of retail data.
